Friends or Foe?
Hmmm. Why is that always when a friendship fallsout, only then one can find so much hatred with one another. It’s rather puzzling, whereas technically they were labelled, as FRIENDS before. So what is the definition of friends in this case?
I guess it’s just like Love; there’s no true answer to it.
Everyone has their own views and perceptions how they regard one another.
Remember when were young(er), there were diaries passed around school and you were told to fill in your particulars and whatsnot? Those creative ones would colour the page up with morbid looking markers and such, flattery notes blah blah, okay before i drift away from my point.. Remember there’s always a section that somehow wasn’t really important to us now but then, it seems like it is. There’s always the parts where we mention; “People i dislike: etc etc..” and what do we normally write down back then?
Liars, backstabbers, hypocrites, sarcastic people, whatever.
Hillarious ain’t it?Truth be told and my opinion is that, we’re just listing down the bad points we have in ourselves. Of course you do not want to find someone who shares the exact same characteristics as you. I find that freaky. So we”d list down those evidently harsh words that would likely describe the ugly part of ourselves. I strongly believe with my opinions though, but it’s up to others to judge; we’re in an open world, share your views.
Have we not lied in our lives ever before?
Have we not talked about people behind their backs?
Have we not been hypocritical ever?
Have we not even drop a hint of sarcasm to anyone before?
If there’s a definite Yes somewhere for an answer just simply means, you’d agree with my first question? My god everyone lies, all kinds of lies. We lie to our friends, parents and everyone else just so to prove our “innocence” or in other the words; to get out of something or to get something. I know it may sound quite harsh and rude for me to say so, but it is certainly the fact. I won’t deny it too. Some lies would put ourselves into trouble, some might benefit from the lies and some would definitely suffer from the guilt but one common thing here, we all lied. Hah.
So before we start calling people a liar and full of bull, think over it twice.
Also, everyone bitches (aka backstab) about everyone else, everyone is very hypocritical about everything around them. It’s a silent cycle that everyone claims they are not doing. Com’on we sometimes we see our parents doing it. “Have you heard about neighbour.. etc”. LOL. Which brings me to another point; SARCASM. Who started sarcasm in our lives; definitely to me they are our parents haha. Unfortunately, it is. They’d drop hints and remarks for you to be home early, they’d tried signalling you that they need something. I can go on with this but i guess most of you have gotten my drift. I believe, we live in a world of sarcasms, to me, to you, to your loved ones, etc. Sometimes we don’t even notice that we’re doing it, this goes to all the other points i mentioned above.
I mentioned before, it’s a cycle or mystically acclaimed - Karma.
I am no superhero/god to stop these evil doings, but sadly i’m a victim of it as well. I wished pandora had not opened the damn box. MAYBE everything in this world would be better and there’ll be a true definition of friends and love. It takes one step at a time but there’s too much pride in this world that it consumes each and everyone of us. We fight, because each and everyone thinks they’re right. We call each other names behind their backs to justify ourselves or more so to make ourselves feel we’re a head better than the rest.
This is just a gentle reminder , think twice before saying anything. And lastly, there are no good or bad friends in this world, even if a friendship fathoms way beneath the bayou mud; there shouldn’t be any sense of hatred for one another but take it on your own stride and learn from the mistakes of it. Forgive and forget, it definitely makes you the better person that you are now.
P.S. Self reflection is always good. Point prven with the entry above
